ASU Alumnus, Author, Entrepreneur to Speak at Lecture Series

The founder of the Urban Reader's Association and Project 1322 is the keynote speaker at the ASU Center for Teaching, Learning and Scholarship lecture series. Randy D. Williams is the final presenter for the spring 2014 series to be held at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, March 6 in the Student Center Ballroom located on the campus.
The author, speaker, and motivator’s passion for service and success was borne out of the loss of two brothers both under the age of 25. Their demise provided the inspiration that led to his work that impacts the lives of today’s youths.
A love of reading inspired Williams to start the Urban Reader’s association to restore and preserve its value in urban areas. The organization promotes reading and writing.
His mentoring organization, Project 1322 teaches youth how to empower communities through entrepreneurship and it outlines a realistic view of business ownership, management, and decision making through mentorship and hands-on activities.
