Hamilton Relay Adding 40 Jobs in Albany

Telecommunications provider Hamilton Relay announced this week that it will be expanding its workforce, adding 40 new positions to its Albany center.
Hamilton Relay, a national telecommunications relay and captioned telephone services provider with offices in 16 states, established its Georgia center in Albany in 2006 and is now looking to add a variety of new positions to its staff.
The company is looking to add 40 total positions in Albany over the next several months, beginning with the immediate filling of 12 part-time and full-time captioning assistant positions.
Captioning assistants work behind the scenes to re-voice everything said by a standard phone user into state-of-the-art voice recognition software that then converts the speech, almost simultaneously, into a text that appears on a special phone called a CapTel Phone.
