Jameson Inn Changes Name to Baymont Inn & Suites

After extensive renovations and corporate re-branding, Albany’s Jameson Inn is now known as Baymont Inn and Suites.
Baymont executives and employees joined Albany Area Chamber of Commerce and Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau representatives in rededicating the hotel with a gathering held on-site Wednesday.
“We’re really happy to have Baymont here,” said Chris Hardy, president and CEO of the chamber. “The hotel and staff are great supporters of the chamber. We’re pleased they are continuing their relationship with Albany.”
Hotel General Manager Tim Hardwick, said the name change came about when parent company Channel Point Hospitality decided to re-brand its hotel franchise, giving it not only a new name but a new look.
