Turnout Strong for Albany Home Buyers Expo
Monday, September 30th, 2013
Roughly 200 potential home buyers turned out Thursday night to learn what it takes to become a first-time homeowner.
According to organizers, the Albany Board of Realtors and The Albany Herald, the event was a success, giving interested home buyers a chance to meet with real estate industry specialists to gather information related to owning their own home.
“We’ve had a very good turnout,” said Jayme Jaycox Cobb, chair of the event. “I’m glad to see so many people are interested in owning a home.”
The event hosts wanted to make certain they had information pertaining to every facet of home ownership, allowing attendees to meet with mortgage lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, insurance providers, contractors, appraisers and inspectors.
