Salt Lick Hoping for Early November Opening

Salt Lick Sausage Company likes to bill itself as “just a small country store out in the middle of nowhere.” With a new 13,000 square foot facility set to open in November north of Albany, however, the company appears to be getting quite a bit bigger.
The company is putting the finishing touches on a new building on U.S. Highway 82 in Lee County. It will replace the existing smaller store Jackson Krause and two partners opened in 2008. The company’s original store is located in Warwick.
Krause said he’s looking forward to the amount of additional room and new inventory the new store will provide.
