Heritage Financial Makes Georgia Trend's Top 100 List

Heritage Financial Group Inc, by Georgia Trend magazine’s definition, has reached the heavyweight division among Georgia’s top public companies.
Heritage is the only Albany-based public company on the Top 100 list published each year by Georgia Trend. The ranking is based on revenue in 2012.
Heritage came in a No. 84 on the list with $68 million in revenue. The banking company, according to the magazine, has 321 employees and has substantially expanded its market area throughout Georgia and into Alabama and Florida.
Most of the public companies on the list are based in metro Atlanta, including No. 1 Home Depot. Ranked No. 2 through 4 are, in order, United Parcel Service Inc., Cola-Cola Co. and Delta Air Lines Co. The top-ranked non-Atlanta company is Aflac Inc. at No. 5.
