Dougherty Industrial Park Construction Expected Soon

Sewer work will begin soon at the newest industrial park project in Dougherty County. Economic Development Commission leaders say they have high hopes for the park.
A $270,000 bid was awarded to build the sewer system at The Albany Dougherty Industrial Park off Sylvester Road adjacent to the former Cooper Tire Plant. The 225 acre park has railroad access, and E.D.C. leaders say large, "shovel ready" sights like this are in demand.
