T employment set another all-time high in January with an increase of 15,800 jobs.  

The number of IT jobs grew 0.37 percent sequentially last month to 4,339,800, according to TechServe Alliance, a collaboration of IT services firms, clients, consultants and suppliers. IT employment has grown by over 4% since January 2012.  These latest numbers are based on the rebenchmarked data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) this month.

"I am pleased to see IT employment growth is off to a strong start in 2013," said Mark Roberts , the CEO of TechServe.

"Despite the lingering uncertainty with the U.S. and global economies, I anticipate demand for IT professionals will remain robust throughout 2013, " added Roberts.
