FedEX to Expand Operations in Albany

FedEX will triple the size of its facilities in Albany, the Albany Dougherty Payroll Development Authority annonced this morning.
The Payroll Development Authority approved the sale of 9.2 acres of land from the industrial park off the Liberty Bypass to Setzer Properties ZALN, LLC for $ 131,550.
FedEX plans to replace its 21,000 square foot facility with a brand new 61,000 square foot building.
At this time its unsure how many jobs will be created with the expansion, but some estimates put the number somewhere between 12-20.
