The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Plantation Publishing fill a number of job openings for traveling sales personnel. The company publishes telephone directories for Southwest Georgia.

The recruitment will be held Wednesday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Albany Career Center, located at 1608 South Slappey Blvd.

The company localizes each telephone directory for the community it serves, including Albany, Americus, Cordele, Moultrie, Thomasville, and Valdosta. So, applicants must have transportation to travel a 50-mile radius. They must also have a resume, high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), and at least one year of outside sales experience.

The jobs pay a base salary, plus commission, with the potential to earn as much as $40,000 a year.
