Jim Bacon was recently named to the boards of directors for Community Capital Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary AB&T National Bank.

A native of Albany and graduate of Westover High School, Jim attended the University of Georgia where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) and previously worked for M&M/Mars in various accounting and sales/marketing positions. He also worked with Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in both the US and overseas.

In 2000, Jim returned to Albany and was named general manager of SafeAire Heating and Cooling. He is a member of the Dougherty County Rotary Club and Warwick United Methodist Church, where he serves as coordinator for “Outdoor Boat Church.” Additionally, he is a partner in Oakland Plantation, a master planned real-estate development in Lee County.
