Mediacom Communications Corporation announced that it will participate in the American Cancer Society’s 2012 Relay for Life of Dougherty County as a corporate sponsor.

“Relay for Life is such a vital asset to cancer patients and survivors everywhere, and Mediacom is thrilled to be able to contribute to the program once again,” said Sue Misiunas, Mediacom’s regional vice president of operations. “We also encourage the Albany community to take advantage of this unique opportunity to save lives and offer support to families and survivors.”

Relay for Life committee members, Kathy Culbreth, Jasmine Moore, and Daryl Owens presented Mediacom representatives with a corporate sponsorship banner on March 30th.

Mediacom will also be participating as a team during the event scheduled for April 20th at Darton College starting at 6 p.m. Donations are now being accepted at Mediacom’s Albany office located at 1104 N. Westover Blvd.
