The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of its annual Biz Expo, taking place Wednesday, September 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center. The event is open to the public and will bring local businesses and community members together for an evening of connection, discovery and support for the Southwest Georgia business community.

Biz Expo provides an opportunity for businesses from across the area to showcase their products, services and organizations while connecting with fellow businesses and members of the community. Before opening to the public, exhibitors will have the opportunity to participate in a dedicated Business-to-Business Connections period from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

“Biz Expo is a great opportunity to bring our business community together under one roof,” said Matt Reed, Interim President & CEO of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to providing our exhibitors with an opportunity to make valuable connections while inviting the community to come out, learn more about local businesses and support the organizations that make Southwest Georgia such a great place to live and work.”

Attendees will have the chance to visit exhibitors, learn more about local businesses and organizations, make connections, and discover the many products and services available throughout the community.

This year’s Biz Expo is also part of a two-day partnership with the Albany Economic Development Commission, which will host the SWGA Career Expo on Thursday, September 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center. The Career Expo will provide businesses with an additional opportunity to connect with job seekers and showcase career opportunities throughout Southwest Georgia.

The Albany Area Chamber encourages residents to bring their friends, families and coworkers and experience all that the local business community has to offer.
