In collaboration with the Georgia Power Economic Development team, the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission (ADEDC) was proud to host project managers from across Georgia to share key community updates and foster economic growth in Southwest Georgia.

On Thursday, February 6, project managers from the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Power, Electric Cities of Georgia, and Georgia EMC gathered at the Georgia Power Experience Center in Atlanta. During the event, Jana Dyke, President & CEO of ADEDC, provided an update highlighting recent economic achievements, infrastructure developments, and upcoming opportunities in the Albany-Dougherty region.

“This is another great step in the economic development process,” said Scott Purvis, Georgia Power’s Regional Economic Development Manager for the South Region. “Communities making the time to come to Atlanta is so important, and we’re always proud to partner with ADEDC in strengthening economic opportunities across Georgia.”
