Thursday, October 31st, 2024

Today, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the promotion of three dedicated team members who exemplify the values and principles of the “Georgia Chamber Way.” As the Georgia Chamber works to strengthen our mission of advocating for free enterprise, fostering economic resilience, and supporting the future of Georgia’s business community, these servant-hearted leaders will play essential roles in driving forward our agenda and strategic vision.

Effective immediately, Nancy Palmer has been promoted to Senior Vice President for Public Affairs. In her new role, Nancy will lead the Georgia Chamber’s lobbying and political operations, bringing her expertise and commitment to representing Georgia’s business interests across the state and beyond. Nancy’s track record of strategic advocacy and her commitment to free enterprise make her the ideal choice to lead our public affairs team during this pivotal time for the Georgia business community.

Additionally, Daniela Perry will serve as the new Executive Director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation. Daniela, currently Vice President of the Georgia Chamber Foundation, will take the helm in driving our long-term economic strategic planning, coordinating major statewide initiatives, and reinforcing the Chamber’s commitment to Georgia’s continued economic prosperity. Under Daniela’s leadership, the Foundation will deepen its focus on transformative projects that support economic development, talent and workforce preparedness, competitiveness and innovation, ensuring a strong economic future for all Georgians.

Tiffany Holmes, along with the Center for Rural Prosperity located in Tifton, will transition under the Georgia Chamber Foundation as she expands her role to become the Deputy Director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation. Tiffany’s deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing rural Georgia will allow her to work closely with Daniela and the Foundation team to address the needs of rural communities and enhance their economic potential. This structural alignment will strengthen our focus on regional prosperity as a core component of Georgia’s economic strategy. Tiffany will also expand her role in supporting the Georgia Chamber Federation and our local chamber partners.

Chris Clark, CCE, President and CEO of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce said:

“Nancy, Daniela, and Tiffany represent the very best of the Georgia Chamber Way—advocating for free enterprise, stewarding our business community and economy, demonstrating servant leadership, and embodying corporate citizenship. Their dedication and commitment are invaluable as we work together to build a prosperous future for Georgia.”
