Albany City Commission Announces New City Manager

On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the Albany City Commission announced their selection for the City Manager position.
In a 5 to 2 vote, the Commission voted to hire Mr. Terrell Jacobs, who is currently serving as a Member Services Consultant with the Georgia Municipal Association out of Atlanta.
He has also worked as a consultant with the Albany Board of Commissioners several times during their retreats.
