The highly anticipated BIZ EXPO returned to the Albany Civic Center, transforming it into a vibrant hub for dynamic business interactions on Thursday. The event continued its legacy of drawing hundreds of attendees, providing local businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase their products and services to a myriad of consumers at one time.

Nearly 50 businesses participated, attracting a diverse crowd of community members eager to explore the offerings of our local businesses. The expo kicked off with an exclusive hour of vendor-to-vendor networking, setting the stage for a day of meaningful connections. Doors opened to the public at 4:30 p.m., with entry available at no cost for those with a business card or $5 per person without.

Attendees were treated to a fantastic atmosphere enriched by fantastic music, fifty door prizes generously contributed by each vendor, and delightful samples from some of the region's finest restaurants. Guests even had the privilege of being wowed by the Albany State University Marching Band Drum Line as they joined the event for a brief time to showcase their phenomenal talent. The generosity of Albany Area Chamber members Flint River Entertainment Complex, Albany Area Primary Health Care, Inc., Albany State University, Molson Coors, and Turner Job Corps, played a pivotal role in making BIZ EXPO 2023 possible. Their support reflects a shared commitment to fostering local economic growth and community prosperity.
