The Albany State University (ASU) Third Annual Athletics Golf Classic will be held at the Flint River Municipal Golf Course on Friday, June 16, 2023.   

In 2022, the event raised $36,663 in ASU Foundation scholarships for student-athletes. This year, the university hopes to increase the funds raised, and asks community members to show support by registering a team or sponsoring a hole.  

Registration for the Golf Classic will begin at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The Flint River Municipal Golf Course is located at 2000 McAdams Road in Albany, Georgia.  

The classic will be a 4-Person Scramble Format.  

Championship, traditional flights, registration, and the range open at 7 am. 
 
Championship Flight teams will split and play with two members of another foursome.
 
The entry fee includes a gift, golfing, and lunch and is $620 for a foursome with BONANZA and $500 without BONANZA. With BONANZA, each team member will skirt the par 5 (teeing from the women’s tees) and receive two mulligans. 
 
Awards will include first and second place from each flight, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
