The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for 2017 Small Business of the Year award. On May 2nd, the Chamber will recognize a small business that works daily to set high standards that successfully provides an exceptional product and/or service, and that represents the very best of business in the Albany area.

“It takes a tremendous amount of perseverance, diligence and courage to own and run a small business,” said Albany Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Barbara Rivera Holmes. “Small businesses are the heartbeat of our community, and it is always an honor to recognize those owners who are making a difference.”

The deadline to nominate a deserving business is March 24. Award-eligible businesses must have been a member of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce for at least one year and have fewer than 100 full-time employees.
