Chief LaShawnda Ethridge & Chief Anita Allen to Speak During Local TEAAMS Session at Albany Technical College

Albany Technical College is announcing the upcoming TEAAMS Monthly Empowerment Session on March 21, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Logistics Education Center. LaShawnda Ethridge, Chief of Police Albany Technical College, and Anita Allen, Chief of Police Albany State University, will speak at the event. This session is part of the college's Teaching, Empowering African American Males to Succeed (TEAAMS) initiative. It is designed to provide African American males with fundamental skills to help them succeed and persist through internal and external challenges.

Each month, the TEAAMS project hosts a Monthly Empowerment Session; ATC Faculty and Community Leaders are invited to speak to the students. "Chief Ethridge and Chief Allen will join us as we celebrate Women's History Month.," remarked Quanta Bell, the TEAAMS Project Director.
