Thursday is Crossover Day under the Georgia Gold Dome

Next to opening day and adjournment, Crossover Day is one of the most important milestones of Georgia’s annual legislative session, and Thursday marks that milestone.
Crossover Day is the deadline for a bill to pass one of the two legislative chambers. Bills that fail to pass on Crossover Day can no longer be considered in the current session.
