FALL BREAK CAMP

Chehaw is a wonderful place for children to let loose and have fun while learning about the wonders of nature around them. In fall 2021, Chehaw has week long half and full day camps for children ages 5-12 running during school breaks.

Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, activities, and snack! Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.

Ages: 5-12 years
Time: 9a- 3p
After Camp Care: 3-6 p
Price: $30 per day or $137 for a week

Members get a 10% discount on all weeklong camp sessions and half price After Camp Care.

Team Chehaw is committed to the safety of our campers, staff, and zoological collection. We are using the CDC Summer Camp Guidelines and AZA COVID-19 Zoological Guidelines.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Dec. 3-4, 10-11, 17-24, & 26

Drive through the lights, enjoy a hot cocoa, and roast marshmallows by the fire pits. Santa dates will be confirmed soon!

Lights run Dec. 3-4, 10-11, 17-24, & 26 from 6-9 pm

$8 per car for members of any Artesian Alliance organization
$10 per car for nonmembers

ANIMAL THANKSGIVING

One of our favorite days where the animals get to enjoy a special Thanksgiving Feast with guests.

Join us in the Zoo Plaza to make your own pet enrichment, fun crafts, and Thanksgiving themed games and activities.

Come watch our Zookeepers deliver various types of enrichment to a variety of animals!

Enrichment is one of the many aspects critical to keeping animals mentally stimulated in captivity and is an important part of our animal’s daily lives. Event is included with Zoo admission and, as always, free for members.
