July Presentations at the Georgia Archives

The Georgia Archives is offering two free virtual Teams live events in July. On July 9 from noon to 1:00 p.m. is our Lunch and Learn presentation, “The All-Americans of the 82nd Airborne Division & Operation Husky - the Allied Invasion of Sicily July 9-10, 1943” by Retired Army Sergeant Major Chris Lewis, Director of Education & Volunteer Services at the National Infantry Museum in Columbus.

On July 23 from noon to 1:00 p.m. our educational series Fourth Friday From the Archives presentation is "Centuries of Fascinating Stories in Georgia History: Investigating the Collections at the Georgia Archives" by Georgia Archives Education Specialist Penny Cliff.

The link for the live events will be posted on the Georgia Archives Facebook page and website wwww.georgiaarchives.org. Microsoft Teams currently supports these browsers: Internet Explorer II, Microsoft Edge, RS2 or later, the latest version of Chrome, and the latest version of Firefox.
