University of Georgia Small Business Development Center Offers QuickBooks Online Training in Albany February 4th

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (UGA SBDC) will be offering QuickBooks Online training in Albany on Tuesday, February 4. The training is designed for business owners who are currently using the program or considering implementing the platform. The program is sponsored by Draffin Tucker. 

The course will be led by UGA SBDC Brunswick Area Director, David Lewis, a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, and will cover the following topics:

Accounting Principles Overview

New Company Set Up

Recording Daily Transactions

Generating Invoices

Reporting

“QuickBooks training is a request we hear often from small business owners,” says Heather Sharpe, UGA SBDC Business Consultant.  “We are pleased to be able to offer this valuable training and we are excited to have the support of Draffin Tucker to help bring this course to the business owners in the area.” 

Quickbooks Online will be held from 9AM – 4PM on Tuesday, February 4 at the UGA SBDC office in Albany. Seats are limited and pre-registration is required; visit www.georgiasbdc.org/quickbooks for additional details and registration.Participants should plan to bring a laptop or similar device capable of connecting to wifi in order to participate in the program. Using a case study, participants will review the topics discussed and walk through the steps necessary to perform the actions.
