Staff Report From Albany CEO

Community members and friends gathered in the Wetherbee Lobby at Phoebe for the Phoebe Foundation’s annual Paver Dedication Ceremony. Each year dozens of individuals receive a permanent place of recognition in the Phoebe Paver Pathway. Today’s ceremony celebrated life and honored 76 individuals whose names will be added to the pathway.

“A ceremony like this that remembers people, like my dad, and honors others touches my heart. We are so fortunate to have this facility and the doctors, and for them to take the time to honor those in the community is special,” said Bo Henry, community business leader.

The paver program allows individuals to honor, remember and celebrate special people and occasions by placing an engraved brick in the paver pathway at the main entrance to the hospital. Of the 76 bricks to be added, eight were purchased in honor of, 47 in memory of, and 21 recognize Phoebe Family members who have retired with 25 years or more of service.
