The Board of Commissioners of Dougherty County, Georgia will make appointments to the following listed Boards. Candidates should submit a letter of interest and/or resume by 5:00 p.m. May 31, 2019 to Jawahn Ware, County Clerk at [email protected].

Board Vacancies:

- Electrical Board – Three (3) appointments. The appointments will fill a one-year term ending December 31, 2019. The purpose of this Board is to consider all matters related to electrical installations, including alterations, repairs, and equipment. This Board meets on an as needed basis. One (1) appointment must be a Master Electrician. Two (2) joint appointments must be an Electrical Supplier. Appointment must be a resident of Dougherty County.

- Flood Plain Management Review Board - One (1) appointment. This appointment will fill a three-year term ending December 31, 2021. The purpose of this Board is to consider variances on structures that are below the required base flood elevation level. This Board meets on an as needed basis. Appointment must be an Engineer or Land Surveyor.

- Joint Board of Adjustments & Appeals – One (1) appointment. The appointment will fill a three-year term ending October 1, 2021. The Board meets on an as-needed basis.

- Dougherty County Development Authority – One (1) appointment. The appointment will fill a four-year unexpired term ending December 31, 2021. The Board meets on an as-needed basis. Appointment must be a resident of Dougherty County.
