Marines Assist with Storm Cleanup

Dozens of Marines aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany stepped up to lend a helping hand to the residents in Cairo, Ga, Mar. 12. According to news reports, southeast and southwest areas of Cairo were hit the hardest by the EF2 tornado that touched down on Sunday night. Reports indicate the city was impacted more by Sunday’s storms than Hurricane Michael, causing significant damage to homes and businesses. Several Marines have been out all morning and afternoon leading the charge and clearing debris.
