State Route Storm Debris Removal Ending in Two Counties

Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will begin the final round of storm debris removal on state routes in Thomas and Terrell counties Sunday.

Georgia DOT contractors are removing Hurricane Michael tree debris from state route rights of way in six counties. Contractors started at different times are in various stages of completion, with Thomas and Terrell being the most advanced.

Contractors are picking up only tree debris left by the October hurricane. There is no commercial property pick up.
