Dougherty County Chairman Shares Appreciation for Governor and First Lady Deal During Visit to Albany on Tuesday

Dougherty County Commission Chairman, Chris Cohilas, had the opportunity of visiting with The Honorable Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal during their visit to Albany on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, for a dinner held in their honor by the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce.

“During all of his years in office, Governor Deal has always been supportive of Dougherty County and south Georgia, particularly through the natural disasters we have had to overcome in the last several months and we are appreciative of his efforts in our region,” said Cohilas.

The first of its kind in Albany, the dinner celebrated the positive impact Governor Deal has made on the state of Georgia. In addition to Cohilas, several local elected officials, community leaders, business owners, educators, and more, were in attendance.
