As the Lee County High School Trojans prepare to take on Southwest Macon Patriots for homecoming, the LCHS Distinguished Alumni committee is preparing the final touches to welcome our seven Distinguished Alumni back to LCHS and our community.

The purpose of this program is to recognize outstanding alumni who have maintained a high standard of excellence and distinguished themselves through their work, personal accomplishments, or in the lives of others.  These individuals exemplify the ideals of the Lee County School System and the community it serves, and serve as role models for current and future Lee County High School students.

            The 2018 Class of Distinguished Alumni are listed in alphabetical order:

Thursday, September 13, 2018 – Homecoming Parade in downtown Leesburg at 5:30 pm.

Our Distinguished Alumni will serve as the Grand Marshals of the Parade.

Thursday, September 13, 2018 – Distinguished Alumni Banquet

Location:         The Bindery @ Oakland Library (Leesburg, GA)

Time:               7:00 pm

Tickets:            $15 per person (Available at Lee County Chamber of Commerce, Lee County High School and Lee County Board of Education).

Friday, September 14, 2018 – School Presentations

Ms. Cynthia Cannon George will speak with students at LCMS West – 8:30 am

Mr. John Gregory McClellan & Dr. Renee Thomas-Mays will speak with students at LCMS East – 9:40 am

Mr. Jared Dervan will speak at LCHS - 8:30 am

Mr. George Lawson Vann, Jr will speak at LCHS – 12:30 pm

Dr. David M. Banks will speak with all 9th grade students – 2:00 pm

Friday, September 14, 2018 – Homecoming Football Game

Our 2018 LCHS Distinguished Alumni will be recognized from the Football Field during Pre-Game festivities and then will enjoy the football game with their guests.
