Planters First Bank Names Steve Bridges as President and CEO

Planters First Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Louis Steve Bridges as President and CEO.  

“I am honored and excited to begin my role as President and CEO of PFB,” said Bridges. “We have a firm foundation and are well-positioned for continued growth and success.  PFB has been a great place to work for the past 13 years and I look forward to serving our customers, employees and shareholders as we move forward.”
 
Bridges began his banking career at Cordele Banking Company (same location as our current Cordele office) in 1976, later was employed for 22 years at First State Bank/Regions until 2005 when he joined Planters First Bank as a Commercial Lender and later the Chief Credit Officer.

Married to Kaye Schofill Bridges.  They have 2 children, Mandi Saratsiotis (Alex) and Adam Bridges (Inga), also 6 grandchildren (Hannah, Sara Grace, William, Mary Katherine, Isabelle and Caroline. Steve and Kaye are active members at Cordele First United Methodist Church.
