iHeartMedia Columbus and Albany Market Names Brian Paiz Senior VP of Programming

iHeartMedia announced that Brian Paiz has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for the Columbus and Albany market, effective immediately. The market has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eleven stations, comprised of music, talk and news formats. 

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Senior Vice President of Programming, Paiz will be responsible for overseeing all programming operations, including on-air content, music programming, on-air personalities and program directors. Paiz will report to Jennifer Newman, Market President for iHeartMedia Columbus and Albany, Georgia region.

Paiz joins the iHeartMedia Columbus and Albany market from IBX Media in Greenville, North Carolina where he was Brand Manager for WRHD-HD2. Paiz has also held several programming positions for iHeartMedia, including Program Director for iHeartMedia’s 100.1 The Beat and Director of Urban Programming for 97.9 WIBB and V101.7 in Macon, Georgia. Paiz began his career at WPEG-FM in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended East Carolina University.
