Georgia Chamber of Commerce Announces Endorsements of Statewide Candidates

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Gary Black for Commissioner of Agriculture, Chris Carr for Attorney General, Mark Butler for Commissioner of Labor, Chuck Eaton for Public Service Commissioner District 3, and Tricia Pridemore for Public Service Commissioner District 5 in the 2018 general election.
 
“The Chamber is proud to announce our support and endorsement of their candidacy in this year’s election,” said Chris Clark, Georgia Chamber President & CEO. “We look forward to working with each candidate to strengthen our growing economy and remain increasingly competitive in our efforts to maintain our status of being the No. 1 state in which to do business. Each of these incumbents have demonstrated unwavering commitment for economic growth and have proven their ability to represent the interests of Georgia businesses and working families.”
 
“The administration and operation of these governmental agencies play a vital role in advancing economic opportunities, and it is critical that we elect pro-business officials who are dedicated to protecting and promoting sound policy,” said Georgia Chamber Political Affairs Council Chairman, Ben J. Tarbutton, III. “I am confident that these candidates will continue to provide the effective leadership that Georgians deserve.”
