LRA Constructors, Inc. has recently partnered with WorkSource Georgia to support the company’s staffing and training needs.  WorkSource Georgia, administered by the Technical College System of Georgia’s Office Workforce Development, is the state’s federally-funded employment and training system, working to connect talent with opportunity.

At a local level, the Office of Workforce Development provides WIOA funds and technical assistance to the 19 Local Workforce Development Areas across the state. WIOA funds are allotted to dislocated workers, low-income adults and youth and administered specifically through services geared toward helping disadvantaged citizens obtain meaningful employment.

“We are excited about this program and its ability to support jobs in the areas that we work,” said Gerry Dozier, Human Resources Development Manager, LRA Constructors, Inc.  “This program aligns with our efforts to develop a part of our workforce through contact with local and regional high schools, college & career academies and technical colleges.  We have been intentional in connecting with these type programs and are excited to have some new people on-board.  We plan to continue this effort moving forward.”
