Andrew College Announces New Dean of Student Affairs

James D. McCoy has been appointed dean of student affairs at Andrew College. He began his new role on July 2, 2018.

McCoy has six years of experience in higher education most recently working as the assistant dean of student life at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. His experience has involved work with retention, first-year experience, study skills, residence life, co-curricular programming, student engagement and conduct.

President Linda Buchanan remarked, “We are so pleased that James has joined the Andrew College team. His skills and knowledge will enable him to serve as an effective advocate and mentor for our students during their tenure at Andrew.”

McCoy received both his master’s of business administration and his bachelor of fine arts from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA.
