Synovus Names Bo Henry to Albany Advisory Board

Synovus has appointed Bo Henry to its Albany Advisory Board. Henry is an entrepreneur and co-owner of Stewbos, which operates Merry Acres Inn, Harvest Moon, The Catch Seafood Room & Oyster Bar, and a number of other renowned dining and entertainment establishments in Albany. He is also lead singer of the Bo Henry Band and a hunter and conservationist.
 
“Bo Henry represents everything that’s great about Albany and southwest Georgia, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to our Advisory Board,” said Pam Simmons, Synovus market executive for Albany. “Nobody’s more passionate about our town, or committed to making a difference for everyone who lives here than Bo, and we know we will benefit from his wisdom and enthusiasm.”
 
Henry is a native of southwest Georgia and has lived in Albany most of his life. He graduated from Deerfield-Windsor School, Darton College, and attended Georgia Southern University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Deerfield-Windsor School, as well as the boards of the GA Music Foundation and the Southwest Georgia Chapter of Quail Forever. Henry is a member of First United Methodist Church in Albany.  He and his wife, Kate, have two sons, Hank and Sam, and reside in Albany, GA.
