Staff Report From Albany CEO

Tuesday, June 5th, 2018

AB&T is pleased to announce that Senior Operations Specialist and Compliance Administrator Laurie Senn has been named as the bank’s CRA Officer.

An Albany native, Laurie has more than 15 years of banking experience having been with AB&T from 2002 to 2008 and returning in 2016 to work in the bank’s compliance and operations departments.

Since that time Laurie has taken ownership of AB&T’s day-to-day Community Reinvestment Act activities, developing additional forms to assist the bank and its associates in documenting community activities that support its CRA initiatives, thus making her the natural choice to serve as CRA Officer.

In her new role, Laurie will continue to be responsible for identifying the bank’s pertinent CRA needs, keeping abreast of emerging CRA issues and regulatory perspectives, and developing and coordinating CRA training for bank staff.

Additionally, she will coordinate with third parties and bank staff in delivering CRA-related programs, manage and maintain the bank’s CRA recording and reporting systems, and continue the ongoing monitoring and reporting of the bank’s CRA performance and compliance standing.

“Laurie has distinguished herself during her time with AB&T and her hard work and attention to detail truly are the Gold Standard,” said AB&T President and CEO Luke Flatt. “Having her serve as our CRA officer not only strengthens AB&T, but the community it serves.”

For her part, community focus is precisely what Laurie values most about AB&T and her CRA responsibilities.

“My role as CRA officer helps ensure that AB&T is meeting the needs of our entire community,” Laurie said. “That is something I am passionate about and I’m fortunate to work for an institution that shares that passion.”

Laurie is happily married and the mother of two young children.
