A. West is pleased to announce it has been chosen as the electrical contractor for a $10 million underground electrical distribution project at Clemson University. The infrastructure project requires coordination with the South Carolina Department of Transportation as a single lane of a congested, four lane roadway will be closed in order to mill down the road, build a high voltage duct bank, lay water lines and then repave the mile-long section. This medium voltage project will begin March 1 and must be completed in August prior to football season.

“We have previously worked with Clemson University on several projects.  This one brings a new set of challenges, as we will be active on a very congested road adjacent to the main campus.  The project includes fencing and we will have to manage the pedestrian traffic of the students as well.,” says Chase West, A.
