Merry Acres Students Place in Region FBLA Competition

Merry Acres Middle School's Future Business Leaders of America attended the annual region leadership conference at Moultrie Technical College on Friday, January 12 where students participated in leadership workshops. Students had previously performed and/or tested for their competitive events online. The following members were recognized for their achievements:

· 2nd place, Creed—Bernarzah Harris

· 2nd place, Career Exploration—Ashleigh Johnson

· 3rd place, Career Exploration—Kennedi Williams

· 4th place, Business Spelling—Mionna Dudley

FBLA middle school students will have another opportunity to compete in various business and computer science competitions at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Perry, GA in February. Merry Acres Middle School’s FBLA adviser is Carene Talley.
