On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, the medical students from the Medical College Of Georgia out of Augusta toured Westover Comprehensive High School for the second time. MCG also visited Westover on September 19, 2017. These medical students toured Westover's Academy of Medical Arts and received a firsthand view of how the academy works. These future doctors toured Westover's medical facilities, talked with Westover's AMA instructors and interacted with Westover's AMA students.

Principal Chunn stated the second visit of MCG students was very special because one of the fifty students visiting from MCG, was former 2012 Westover graduate and class valedictorian, Danielle Turner. Principal Chunn stated he is so very proud of Danielle and he had Danielle to address the entire Westover faculty, staff and student body.  

Danielle stated she was very proud to return to her Alma Mata and see her school doing well. She also encouraged the students to never give up and to follow their dreams. Westover Comprehensive High School says to MCG  future doctor and former Westover valedictorian, Danielle Turner, A Job Well Done!!!!
