November is Family and Community Engagement Month in Georgia and the Dougherty County School System has kicked off the month by creating a new resource for parents and community members who want to stay informed and involved in their student's learning.

Building better family and community engagement through better communication is one of the district's top two priorities for the 2017-2018 school year. The district encourages parents to get to know their school-level parent facilitator and to take advantage of various opportunities to serve their student's school.
