Sumter County Chamber October Small Business of the Month: Innovative Senior Solutions

Staff Report From Albany CEO

Wednesday, October 18th, 2017

The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the October Small Business of the Month to Innovative Senior Solutions. Ten years ago, sisters Eshonda Blue and Jessica Wright had a vision, which was inspired by their late Grandmother. Innovative Senior Solutions opened for business, through seeing the needs of their Grandmother and other aging seniors.

Innovative Senior Solutions began as a tiny business incubator and cubicle at South Georgia Technical College, serving only Sumter County. Now ten years later, the company has expanded in twenty-seven counties in Southwest Georgia, with four additional offices and has a corporate office in downtown Americus.
Employing over one hundred caregivers, Eshonda and Jessica have built a team of healthcare professionals who are as compassionate as we are about the mission of improving the lives of seniors and keeping them safe and comfortable at home as long as possible.

The Small Business of the Month Program is designed to spotlight a member business each month that does an exceptional job of serving its customers and the community. Rhett Simons, Chair of the Sumter County Chamber, states “Small businesses are a vital part of our community and the Chamber wants to be able to recognize them for their contributions. We feel a program such as the Small Business of the Month can help shine a light on a successful business as well as commend them for their commitment to the Chamber and the community.”

Companies are selected based on the following qualities: customer service, reputation for integrity and honesty, supporting economic growth by bringing new business into the community, supporting the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce by serving on divisions and/or sponsoring events, and showing support through giving of time and/or donations to local charities, groups, and events.

Now, we want to hear from you! If you or a business you know makes a sustainable effort to strengthen our community through exceptional business practices and outreach efforts, please nominate them HERE or call Carolyn at the Chamber 229-924-2646 for more information.
