ACRI to Host Political Forum October 12th

Staff Report From Albany CEO

Thursday, October 5th, 2017

The Albany Civil Rights Institute will host Ward 2 City Commission Candidates in a forum on Thursday October 12th beginning at 6:30 p.m.

ACRI Executive Director, W. Frank Wilson said, It is very important that our citizens be informed about the vision of those who seek our votes. Wilson noted that this will not be a debate but it will be an opportunity for each of the five candidates to talk directly to the people.

The public is invited to come out to this free event because your vote is your voice.

The Civil Rights Institute does not endorse candidates but strongly supports voter education, voter registration and voter participation which were key tenants of the Civil Rights movement.
