Water, Wings & Wildlife Festival this Friday and Saturday

Staff Report From Albany CEO

Wednesday, September 27th, 2017

Make some tracks and join the Flint RiverQuarium Saturday, September 30, for a celebration of all creatures great and small at the Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival. Whether wet and scaly, feathered, slimy or furry, we want to celebrate all of the amazing wild animals that fill our beautiful world.

New this year is School Day, Friday, September 29. Held one day before our annual Water, Wings & Wildlife Festival, our new School Day will give your students an opportunity to experience our guests and presenters in an educational setting designed just for them. Educators can make a reservation for School Day by calling 229-639-2650.

Returning this year is Jaclyn Friedlander of the Friends with Fins organization. Alligator experts from Wild Adventures in Valdosta also will be participating. Several favorites from past years are also returning, including the Mobile Butterfly House, Winged Ambassador Birds of Prey, Discover SCUBA classes, and more.

Festival admission is included in the cost of regular Flint RiverQuarium admission rates. A few activities may have additional fees. For detailed information please see our web site, www.flintriverquarium.com, or call 229-639-2650.
