Thursday, July 27th, 2017

The Albany State Athletics department is excited to announce the signing of a three-year partnership with Stretch Internet for live video coverage of Golden Ram sporting events. Stretch Internet will provide live video streaming for football, volleyball and other sport programs.

The Golden Ram Sports Network will broadcast home contests and will feature live stats and social media as part of the gamecast. Golden Ram fans will now have the ability to watch their favorite teams while following along with live stats and Twitter updates, all on the same screen. The video streaming platform is also compatible with mobile devices and can be viewed on most smart phones.

"We are very pleased and excited to announce the news of live video streaming to the many supporters of Golden Ram athletics around the country and around the world," said Sherie Gordon, ASU athletic director. "We strive to provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes and our fans and we feel this partnership helps us do just that."

Live streaming of home events will begin on Saturday, Sept. 2 with a football contest featuring the Rams hosting the Valdosta State University Blazers. You can find an up-to-date listing of upcoming broadcasts at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/albanystate. All live video streams can be viewed at the Stretch Internet portal of the ASU Athletics site.
