Cordele-based Marvair, a division of Airxcel Inc., announced recently that it had acquired the Eubank Wallmount product family from National Coil Company.

According to a press release, the move follows NCC’s division to enhance its market position in refrigeration and realign its resources by selling its Eubank Wallmount business that specializes in Wallmount packaged air conditioners, heat pump coils, refrigeration condensing units and unit coolers.

The acquisition of Eubank Wallmount seems like a good fit for Marvair, which manufactures wall-mount HVAC systems, self-contained heating, ventilation and air conditioning products for telecommunication buildings, school classrooms, commercial and industrial structures, and for the marine industry.

Effective immediately, National Coil Company will transfer all Wallmount manufacturing and support to Marvair, and existing Eubank Wallmount customers are being asked to contact Marvair for all product and service needs, including warranty service for existing Eubank products in the field, technical support, finished goods or parts sales.

“The addition of the Eubank Wallmount products to the Marvair product family is a great opportunity to grow the market share for both brands,” said Marvair President Paul Mechler in a press release.

In addition to Marvair, Airxcel Inc., which is headquartered in Wichita, Kan., comprises five additional operating divisions, including RV Products in Wichita, Kan.; Industrial Climate Engineering in Cordele; Suburban in Dayton, Tenn.; Dicor in Elkhart, Ind., and MCD Innovations in McKinney, Texas.

Airxcel also manufactures a variety of specialty HVAC equipment and related appliances for recreation vehicles and other markets under the Coleman, Mach, Suburban, Marvair and Maxxair brands.
