Thursday, October 27th, 2016

Google is expanding the Google Express service to a large portion of the Northwest and Southeast: Alabama, Kentucky, Utah, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, and Washington. Now, more than 70 million more people will have access to two-day delivery shopping at stores like Costco, Whole Foods Market, PetSmart, Kohl’s and more — right from their mobile phones or laptops.

Since launching Google Express, Google has worked alongside retailers to help people get the items they use every day. Google Express makes it easy for shoppers to get the things they need in one convenient place, from multiple stores, giving them time back for the activities they love.

"Our goal with Google Express is to offer a great shopping experience and connect people with their favorite stores,” said Brian Elliott, General Manager of Google Express.

“Today, we're very excited to be expanding our efforts — making it easy for millions in Atlanta and Georgia to get things they need from stores they love, delivered fast."

98 percent of shoppers in Georgia will have two options to enjoy delivery from their favorite local retailers through Google Express:

-Membership for $95/year

-Pay-as-you-go for as low as $4.99 per order

Nearly all Georgians have access to the service, including shoppers in Atlanta, Marietta, Savannah, Lawrenceville, Augusta, Alpharetta, Columbus, Decatur and Macon. To learn more about how to get started with Google Express, please visit google.com/express.
