Thursday, October 27th, 2016

The Americus Sumter Payroll Development Authority and PharmaCentra are hosting a “Relocation Celebration,” as the company (along with its related firm Concentra Solutions) officially brings its headquarters to Americus. The ribbon-cutting at 105 Industrial Drive is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, with reception to follow. The public is invited, but guests are kindly requested to RSVP by email to [email protected].

Barbara Grogan, Executive Director of the Americus Sumter Payroll Development Authority, notes that “The Development Authority has gladly partnered with PharmaCentra and Concentra Solutions and looks forward to many more years of expanding the contact center industry together in Sumter County. These companies have shown their commitment to this community, and Sumter County enthusiastically commits to ensuring they have the environment they need to enable growth. We are proud to be the new home of their headquarters.”

“We have always found great employees here in Sumter County, says Dan Berman, Founder and CEO of PharmaCentra and Concentra Solutions. This move will help us also fill more high-level management positions with Sumter County residents and those seeking to relocate to the area.”

Moving the headquarters is especially appropriate this year, as Dan and his staff are also planning activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original founding of Concentra Solutions in 1991. Americus operations began with a call center in 2008, while the Woodstock, New Brunswick, (Canada) facilities have been operating since 2001.

Rita Timmerman, who has worked in the Americus contact center since 2011, expresses what many of the companies’ longtime employees feel. “We have some fantastic people working here, and the company feels like family. I learn something new every day and am so very thankful for my job.”
