Leonard Thomas Named EVP of Flint Community Bank

Leonard W. Thomas has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Flint Community Bank. Thomas joined Flint Community Bank as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2006.  Thomas began his career with Mauldin & Jenkins in Albany in 1985. In 1988, Thomas moved to their Atlanta office where he was a Bank Audit Manager.  Thomas held the position of SVP and CFO with two commercial banks from 1993 until his move back to Albany to join Flint Community Bank in 2006.  Thomas received his BBA in Accounting from Tennessee Tech University in 1985 and obtained his CPA certificate in 1988.  Thomas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of CPA’s and Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.
