Geraldine Hudley, Gloria Gaines, Michael Fowler Win Dougherty County Races

Dougherty County voters rallied around retired educator Geraldine Hudley in the county’s Democratic primary Tuesday, sending the former teacher and administrator into the Dougherty County School Board’s at-large seat by a convincing margin.
In a race that grew particularly testy over the final two weeks, Hudley earned 6,592 votes to challenger Susie Ealum’s 4,043. Hudley had 62 percent to Ealum’s 38 percent.
